Referral Program Terms

Effective September 21, 2026. These terms apply to new referrals submitted on or after this date.

1. Who can participate

The program is offered by MAGNATE, the service provider identified in your service agreement. Current MAGNATE clients with an enabled Client Portal may participate, including website, hosting, Google Ads and SEO clients. You must have authority to participate for the person or business receiving the reward and comply with applicable law. A referral is not employment, a partnership, or authority to make commitments on MAGNATE’s behalf.

2. What qualifies

A referred business must submit an identifiable referral before purchasing a new website package, enter the applicable service agreement, and pay the full agreed website price in cleared funds. A form submission, meeting, proposal, deposit, or partially paid installment plan does not qualify on its own. Ads, SEO, hosting, renewals, and other purchases alone do not earn this website referral reward. MAGNATE verifies the purchase, attribution, payment, and absence of unresolved fraud or payment disputes before marking a reward ready to pay.

The first reward is determined by the first referral confirmed as qualifying, not by which form arrived first. Creating additional codes or portal accounts does not restart the $400 first-referral benefit. Each qualifying website purchase earns one referral reward and one five-page bonus.

3. Referring another business you own

You may refer a separate business you own for a new website purchase and receive both the applicable referral reward and the five-page bonus. Disclose that relationship on the form. Existing purchases cannot be retroactively converted into self-referrals, and duplicate accounts or fictitious businesses cannot be used to claim additional first-referral rewards.

4. Attribution and competing claims

Share your personal referral link. The page attempts to remember the first valid referral code for 90 days in the same browser. Once an inquiry is submitted, its verified referrer is saved with that inquiry. A later link does not automatically replace an existing saved attribution.

Browser storage may be unavailable, cleared, or different across devices. Tracking is not guaranteed solely by clicking a link. If credit appears missing, contact MAGNATE promptly with the business name and dated evidence of the introduction. For competing claims, MAGNATE will review the earliest valid recorded introduction and supporting evidence in good faith; one sale will not generate multiple rewards. Pre-existing sales discussions, duplicate inquiries and corrections require manual review. A receipt email acknowledges tracking, not eligibility or approval of a reward.

5. The five additional pages

The bonus consists of five additional standard website content pages, with topics and scope agreed during the build. It has no cash value, cannot be redeemed separately, and is tied to the referred business’s qualifying website package. Custom software, paid third-party tools, new integrations, ongoing SEO or ads management, hosting, and ongoing maintenance are not included solely because of this bonus. The website service agreement controls delivery, revisions, scope and project payment terms. Any combination with another offer must be agreed in writing.

6. Payment timing and method

MAGNATE will send an approved reward within 30 calendar days after full website payment has cleared and the recipient has provided the reasonably necessary payment and tax details, provided no payment dispute, refund review or fraud investigation remains unresolved. We will communicate a hold and its reason; an unresolved hold is not a promise that the reward has been approved.

Payment may be made by check or another method agreed with the recipient. Stripe payouts are not promised unless that method is available and arranged. Provide accurate payee and delivery details. Do not send bank credentials or tax identification numbers through the public inquiry form. Any applicable fees or currency conversion must be disclosed before an alternative payment method is accepted. For checks, the sent date is the date of mailing or delivery to the recipient, not the date the check clears. Report lost or incorrect payments promptly so we can review and arrange a correction where appropriate.

7. Cancellations, refunds and disputes

A canceled purchase, unpaid balance, reversed payment or fraudulent transaction is not a qualifying paid website purchase. A pending chargeback or refund dispute pauses reward approval or payment until resolved. If a reward was paid in error or the underlying purchase is later reversed, MAGNATE may request repayment of the unearned reward to the extent permitted by law, with an explanation and an opportunity to resolve a factual error. These referral terms do not create or remove any website customer refund rights under their service agreement or applicable law.

8. Honest referrals and disclosures

Make truthful recommendations and clearly disclose your financial connection near your recommendation or shared link. For example: “I may receive a referral reward if you purchase a website through my link.” Do not hide the disclosure only in a separate terms page. Do not promise rankings, leads, revenue, delivery dates or features that MAGNATE has not approved. Do not use spam, deceptive ads, impersonation, fake inquiries, unauthorized brand use, or unlawful sharing of personal data. Rewards are for qualifying introductions, not for positive reviews.

9. Privacy and taxes

Your chosen public display name appears to people opening your referral link. MAGNATE uses inquiry, attribution and payment information to administer the program and provide the requested services, as described in our Privacy Policy. Share contact information only with permission. Recipients are responsible for taxes legally applicable to their rewards; MAGNATE may request appropriate documentation and perform reporting or withholding required by law.

10. Changes and program integrity

MAGNATE may pause abusive or fraudulent participation and may change or end the program prospectively. We will not retroactively reduce a properly earned reward solely because the program changes. Published changes apply to new referrals from their effective date. No volume of referrals, acceptance of a project, or future earnings is guaranteed. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

11. Questions and records

Contact [email protected] with attribution, eligibility or payout questions. Include the referred business name and relevant dates, but no sensitive financial credentials. The website service terms and any signed agreement govern the website work; this page governs referral rewards and the referral bonus.
